Hi guys Termi stubby race hass arrived all neat in a big padded box all sealed and checklist says instruction manual/sheet. Oh that's not in there. It will be easy enough for me to figure out as Black belt in Ikea building but if anyone does have info sheet can you advise nut bolt correct fitment. Most is obvious and will see when fitting.

Its all secure but the issue is with the correct spacer hanging bracket exhaust side as the bolt supplied not long enough the way I have it. I may have it wrong but have a 40mm bolt on instead right now so maybe someone can do a shot of the hanger exhaust bracket. Also the heat shield spacers to please and again its on but only used the black spacers not the zinced finished ones but all the heat washers used.

Ok after looking at Jerry's dealer fitted detail pic's ( thanks too matey ) and looking at the Ducati factory termi beasta unleasha video and pausing on the moment I see I seem to have had it correct if that is correct and they had official instructions from Termignoni, no reason why they didn't.

So by looking at what was supplied and it was obvious to me by the diameters of rubbers that the bracket is sandwiched by these and the aluminium stepped washer flange and penny washer.

In my opinion they would not leave these out as I did on second attempt and when used in conjunction it put the bolt and nut very close to the swingarm and at an angle.

Now a few phone calls to mates who work in dealers say no dealer has yet had the fitting instructions come to them with the exhausts as mine did not and had been struggling to identify how they should have them. I find this not great from Termignoni but kind of not surprised.

So with a open mind I set it all up bit by bit and attempted to make it right and almost there but the exhaust bracket not only needs a longer bolt by at least 5mm

It's bracket top needs either grinding flat or as I have done added a 3mm washer/spacer to move it away from the bottom of the footrest hanger which would have either rubbed the paint and metal away or stopped flex on the exhaust if needed.

I am now more happy with it and will get a better less obvious headed bolt ( stainless domed ) and an aluminium 3mm x 15mm diameter spacer made by a friend.

Hi Albie, I installed my Termi last night and came to the exact same conclusion for fitment with the parts supplied as well - the supplied bolt is not long enough to accomodate all the supplied washers, bungs etc. I had to do some jiggery and lose a bung to get it to fit. Nice write BTW. I will be waiting till the 1000 km service to have my dealer install the up-map.

Grinning ear to ear with the baffle out :)
Still doubting anyone has actually fitted it correct then with either parts missing or with the correct parts completely without getting a longer bolt.

Ok someone has bought a boxed system and low and behold has fitting instructions in it

It seems you DONT fit the dog bone to the exhaust side fitting.
Here is the detail

Will attempt a refit tomorrow morning.

Hope it puts it all to bed even though mine has been fine I would prefer it tucked in a bit more. Oh and my baffles are now out so the CHIRP has gone.

Hi Albie, Do you know how easy it is to put the baffle back in? Is there instructions for doing that?
Good to see the instructions posted. Cheers
No idea other than popping it back in until the screw hole lines up. At least it has a bar you can tug it out if too far in and due to its shape should not need rotating.

For the record, I just tried to remount this thing according to the instructions about 30 minutes ago, and it was a no go. I don't know why, but it won't line up, just like the first time I tried. I'm bummed, but f-it, I give up. It's back to being mounted the same way you did.
Oh. The guy Steve ( don't know if on here as was on FB ) had pics with it fitted. Sorry if a no go but his showed without. I will try tomorrow and report back but if not will be filing that bracket manufactured wrongly by Termignoni
