Just got an update from Motoprimo. Ducati called them, gave them the part number, told them to order it immediately, and that it would be covered under warranty. So now I'm just waiting for it to get here from Italy. Thanks everybody for your support. I'm 99% certain I got resolution because I posted the thread here (and on the other forum). I wish that I didn't have to advocate for myself so aggressively, but in the end I got what I wanted, which is what Ducati should have done from day one.

I picked up the new resonator yesterday, over two weeks after they ordered it. I'm just happy the roar is back!

I can't believe from start to finish it took over 7 freaking weeks. I'll just try to not think about it, because it really pisses me off.

In case anybody is curious, Ducati prices it as a $530 part.

Well this is lame... it's back. I noticed it yesterday. It lasted less than a month. The little internal tack welds are clearly a very bad design. The dealer said they would contact Ducati on Tuesday for another one. I'm not expecting any warranty claim issues this time. The rattle is pretty obvious in the video I took:

I've been following this issue for a while, having exactly the same issue as you described. This rattle happened barely one month after I got my Termignoni. DUCATI Thailand acknowledged the issue and promised me an exchange one month ago and so far this has been postponed week after week.
I am now supposed to get replacement by next Thursday (or not??) but the news that your new exhaust lasted only a month is not a very good news...

So it's not just me then!! I've just had my 2nd Termignoni resonator break it's welds, luckily for me there was no issue regarding warranty but Ducati are now saying it could be a fault with the engine vibrating too much and might be a problem with my bike since it's the only one to have broken the resonator once let alone twice!

I call bullshit! Clearly it's Termignoni having poor welds on an exhaust that has cost me £950... it's shocking!

Funnily enough I made a post about 20 minutes ago (before seeing this one) about my exhaust braking for the second time. At least now i can link this post to Ducati UK so they can see that it's not a fault with the bike but with the poor welding.
