I figured now was the time to get a Texas Scrambler Owners thread going. Let us know if you are from the great state of Texas!

I'm not, I'm from the UK but I've just been to Dallas, Plano, Grapevine, Farmers Branch, Richardson and Flowermound on business. Does that count? :)

There's a classic car show in spring quite frequently and I know the crowd would get a kick out of our scramblers. Heck even the local bike nights people ask what year the scrambler is. We can probably do cars and coffee as well.

52 years old.
5th bike.
Riden about 12 years total.
last bike was 1970 BMW.
First ducati, bought w no test ride.
After 60 miles, after picking up this morn:
1. big smiles.
2. plently of power.
3. beautiful voice.
4. seat is hard.
5. large turning radius for 'walking' parking.

base is red icon:
spoke rims
termi slip on
sport fairing (i like the yellow, may add a tank and back fender in same)
low bars
custom (at AMS in Dallas) tidy tail (i feel sorry for the guys in EU dragging around a barn door)
rizoma 60mm bar ends (work VERY well)
and have phon mount and garage door/gate mount on way to dealer.

I LOVE THIS BIKE!
