What, even downshifts?
How does it blip throttle to match revs or does it just mash it?

I get it for flat out upshifting but using no clutch ever, well I wouldn't want to be the second owner. Never saw the sense in them off racetrack.

Ah I see. My Audi did that (but it still had clutches and the ECU controlled those too)....Didn't realise it had trickled into bikes...especially retro ones.
I'm still getting over fuel injection on motorcycles.

Yeah well to be fair my comment was based on old school race speed shifters that simply cut ignition briefly to take load off input shaft while rider smashed his way up the gears. Going down was rider skill to match revs but still was hard on the gearbox. I take your point... if it's all ECU controlled now then yes, would be kinder mechanically.
