I think this is the best luggage (saddlebags and top bag) I've seen for classics and modern classics. Just my opinion of course. On sale from Spring 2016.
Second that..First post on a new account, surely this isn't an advertisement...
But you've piqued my interest. Brand? Link?
Ah - sorry about that then, must have looked at your account wrong.I'm not new, in fact I joined before you ;-) but haven't had anything of interest to post until now.
And no, it's not an advertisement - apologies for forgetting the brand which is Hepco & Becker.
I saw a different picture of the motorcycle with these bags in a German magazine (the bike, called the Ducati Scrambler Duster, is from a German customizer, LSL-Motorradtechnik). I wrote to H&B because I couldn't find the bags in their web shop. They immediately wrote back to tell me they're part of a new range called Legacy, will be presented at the EICMA in Milan and be on sale in Spring 2016. I will be buying them for my Ducati Scrambler Classic.
Also very nice bags but I find the H&B ones more retro looking. As in all things, beauty is in the eye of the beholder......Ah - sorry about that then, must have looked at your account wrong.
They look pretty nice, I'll wait till I see more pics.
My favorite so far is SW-Motech's Legend-Gear

In the magazine pictures the two H&B Legacy saddle bags are joined by two leather straps which are slung over the saddle. It doesn't look like they need a mount; however these bags could be prototypes. We'll know more soon when the Legacy range of luggage will be presented at EICMA in November. The SW-Motech have an added advantage over the H&B, they do not need to be used with any sort of mount, instead they are fixed to the seat.

If mounted high enough and with a hard insert, probably not. You'll need something to keep them from falling in to the wheel though, right?

I dont think thats Velcro in thje picture! That's a brilliant idea having the fixed seat mounting with the velcro attachments,![]()
If it's waxed canvas it should be perfectly waterproof and it'll wear beautifully. One can hopeYou know, I was wondering the same thing. They'll be revealing this bag line during EICMA, so we'll have some additional info coming soon.
