Hi those of you that fitted one of these, do you know which cam you used?
There are different ones available and i'm keen to know which work better than others. Is the cam number stamped on the cam?

Not really answering your question, but I believe the new (2017) Scramblers have a different throttle cam designed specifically to make the action a little less urgent. This should be available as an OEM spare which might be worth a try.

My plan is to grind a bit off my 2015 model throttle and see if that works. When it fails and i make a right pigs ear of it i'll need to order one in a hurry. No agent in spain so it'll be coming by snail mail from the good ol USof A and then spend six months in spanish "customs". Once i've paid the enormous ex EU duty, the spanish import duty, the spanish purchase tax, the random xmas beer party tax, and consulted a medium to even know they are holding it, i need it to be right first time.
Surprisingly a US bit supplied to the UK doesn't encounter this issue. 'must be the special relationship.
However confirmation that a 2017 throttle body is "sweet as" would be a short cut. Anyone?

I found the throttle horribly snatchy, especially in city traffic. This sorted it out a bit - still not exactly docile but atleast I'm able to keep 40-50 km/h without looking like I'm on the bike for the first time.

Sorry, I realised that you probably meant the after market one. I was thinking you were answering the post before yours about the 2017 models.
