Top speed on your Scrambler?

With my revised gearing, 2 teeth off the rear, I had a quick run on a local private road. I hit an indicated 121mph @ 8,000rpm. Sat upright with my little number board keeping most of the wind blast off me. It was pretty stable, with no real issues. It'll be interesting to see what it will pull wound right open and with more miles on it :)

And how are your neck muscles?
Fine, the board deflects most if the wind ;-)

I think I turned 110 and that's enough for me on this bike. I don't want anymore speed..
I had a 114mph (saved top speed) on the gps when I reset it, after my S.E. OH trip.

I reset it before the trip as well, so during that trip I had some fast short bursts. Never tried to "crank it out", never really noticed the speedo reading either.
I got to 110 and was hanging on for dear life, it had more to give but I had to slow down before I was blown off the back! I'll have another try with my Dart screen some day :D. Can't say I'd be wanting to do that speed on a regular basis
I hit the rev limiter in top gear, flat on the tank
Ind 130
At our local arodrome, had to be done prob wont repeat tho

I do not see myself doing over a ton too often. If I wanted that I would likely have gone for a different bike. I do appreciate how quickly you can get up there though :)

I'm HUGE on this bike, so anything over 140km, I turn into a big sail… I got nowhere to hide.
I have to say, after having the Dart screen installed, I got up to 111mph and was comfortable! It was the side winds that I was fighting with

I was actually pleasantly surprised at how well my Dart screen worked. Well worth the money and a great modification for me as well.
Haven't done a real top speed run yet, but I have to say with the stock gearing (that I will change eventually) I am always impressed how quickly you can get to speed. I do believe that the Scrambler has the closest ratio gear box out of any other bike I have owned.
So far 55 was it. Here in Fl no helmet required. Forgot my glasses eye protection, jumped on I 95 and 55 was all the June bugs I could eat, filled me up. I will admit as a young man in 1993 bought a new ZX1100 Kwai and went to Aspencade on the Northway, past the 180 speedo number. Had a NYPD get out of jail free card, and will never do that again, 55 is nice to ride to Walgreens, Publix, gym. My old 83 Cb1100F though has been doing three digit duty lately for short bursts, just turned 9000 miles on her. To all be well.

Even back in the day in California when there wasn't a helmet law I always wore a full face and shield/ Have seen too many results of what happens when you don't.

I dont' get it why Ducati is pushing the use non full face helmets?!?!
Looking at the Simpson Carbon Bandit and the Shoei 1200 helmets. Both about the same price roughly. Just solo hot to wear a full face now in S. FL. Two things with the Kawi up north. About 180MPH plus the lower cowling blew off, never even found pieces of it. Second, someone stole it in the Bronx after two weeks of ownership. Had no theft insurance, lost about 10,000 dollars on that one. We just came back from the NJ shore, parked across from Van Cortland park for a minute to unload, came out saw guy riding away. Hopefully by now, he died a slow painful cancer ridden death.
Today got up to 118 - and no probs with the Dart screen. Had to slow down as a roundabout came up on me rather quick!
