Hi,

Week before i reached 201kmph in scrambler Icon. Just i want to know what about others. how much this bike is capable, I checked in youtube and i saw only 194kmph top speed. One of my friend said some one reached 238kmph in his scrambler.

And you, what top speed did you reached?

I think that you've bought the wrong bike if it's top speed that you want, the scrambler isn't a crotch rocket but a nice back to basics put a smile on your face when you ride it kinda bike.

I accept what you said. i bought this bike for fun ride and not for speed. But i JUST WANT KNOW HOW MUCH THIS BIKE CAPABLE bcoz its from ducati. i think its not wrong to know its capability.

I got 118mph (approx 200kph) before I ran out of road - I could have got more. Not comfortable though!

If max revs of 8250rpm could be reached it would achieve 187.7 kph (116.6 mph) with the standard gearing.
Ii wouldn't want to try that on my Scrambler.

115mph or 194kph.......bike felt pretty maxed out but I'm sure a few more mph could have been had.

97.5 mph but it had more to give. This was a GPS reading and NOT the inaccurate speedo reading many give...

Duh, not again, the bike has a shit top speed because it does not have any fairing. Now I have big balls but the most I have taken it to is 170 round abouts and that is more than enough for the type of bike it is. You should be asking more about how fast is it in the twisties because thats its home and thats what Ducatis do best.
I I want to go fast I just jump into my SLK and bomb down the motorway at 250km/h if I can find a bit of road thats empty.

119 MPH with what felt and sounded like more room in the motor, but I didn't buy it to go fast, so I doubt I will ever break 100 again.

It will hit an indicated 125mph fairly easy, doesn't take too long but that's it.
I've not had my phone mounted on the bars yet to get an accurate GPS reading but I'm going to guess that it's closer to 118-120.

This is with 6'1" 86kg of me on board, with a heavy rucksack. Tucked in, I can feel the wind tearing at the rucksack. So without it I imagine there is a little more speed to be had.

I'm hoping to get my new exhaust on and then a remap soon, so we will see if that adds a few mph. It wasn't hitting the limiter up top, so possible.

The bike hits 110 pretty easily and will pull well up to that. Don't exceed that often and this has all been tested on private roads obviously...

weight reduction and 2.5 hp increase from the removal of the clunk stock exhaust and remap will hurl you frwd... it's a nimble fing, nimble doesn't co-exist with +90mph for me.

It's made more for curves than speed! I was curious to see what it would do, but flat out is not enjoyable! It excels in the twisties and is not meant for effortlessly ripping up motorways/dual carriageways. Having said that it can more than keep up with and ahead of most traffic .. well maybe not a ZX 10R .. :laughing7:

Definitely nothing like I traded was used to 170mph from that beast, but as others have said it's a whole different bike than many and I appreciate it for that reason, especially as I get older.

I agree ... and think nobody will buy a Scrambler to have the best topspeed. Its a bike to enjoy and relax on a ride .... mmmmhhh so much fun and happyness , can´t get out that smile from my face.

What was it? A Hayabusa with no mirrors? Last time I saw someone do that speed, his tyre melted.
