Hmm... that doesn't look good.Have you tried going through the other 2 trip meters. Do they work? If you do that and the normal mileage reader doesn't come back, then next I'd disconnect and reconnect the incoming electronic cable to be sure it's seating properly. You could also try scrolling from miles to Kms and see if that brings it to life. Electonics are fickle things.
If that doesn't work then it sounds like a dealer issue. There's a recent thread on here saying that if the whole speedo goes down then the bike won't start, so you need to fix it I'd say in case other stuff starts failing.

The trip 1 and trip 2 works properly but don't add up on the total(just displays - - - - ).Trip 1 and Trip 2 usually wipe once the bike loses battery contact. I have also tried switching between miles and Kms same results.
I hope someone can help out on this soon .
I live in Nigeria and we have no dealer. i would have to speak directly to Ducati if i can not fix this myself.
