My local bike shop phoned Alpina Wheels USA yesterday and was told their aluminum wire wheels that take tubeless tires can now be ordered for the Scrambler, expected delivery mid November. Base model has black rims and hubs, silver spokes and nipples. We haven't yet received Alpina's invoice, but expect it will be around $2100 US including shipping; anodized rims and hubs cost $50 more (each); with powder coating and laser logo also available at additional cost. This is a mere $600 more than list price for the Ducati wire spokes that require inner tubes. On the other hand, it's nearly 25% of the original cost of the Icon, if you're still counting . . . .:indecisiveness:
