Was on my way home. Turning left into my village street. Stretchedd my thumb out to reach the turn signal to go left. Managed to do so. Got home and found the switch missing! No way to turn off the signl unless I poke something inside to disable the left or right turn signal.

I took the bike out again and retraced my route home. Got to the intersection where I made a left turn and found the switch! It was intact. No one picked it up or ran over it. Lucky me!

Got home and glued it permanently. Seems like this plastic bit just snaps to the signal housing.

Hardright,

Could you tell us exactly what fell off and where you put the glue, maybe post a picture if it's not too much trouble. I feel like I may want to have a tube of Superglue handy. Thanks

Sorry I didn't take a picture of what the turn indicator button/assembly looks like before I glued it. It's part number 3 in the picture. That button sits on some triangular piece that clips itself to the turn indicator mechanism. Gluing it should prevent it from falling off. I wonder if Ducati just sells that piece if it falls off or it sells it with the whole turn indicator assembly. Ouch.

Mine fell off whilst signaling left @ 80mph on an interstate hwy...no going back to look for it.

I carved an emergency substitute out of a small piece of wood.

The exterior of the hole is square but the internal window is a horizontal rectangle,
so a wedge shape wooden plug can be readily made to have enough friction to not fall out but be able to slide in to the window slot.

I suppose your ducati dealer is going to replace all the piece ?

I noticed mine was gone and Ducati replaced it under warranty. The new one is gone again. I didn't notice it missing during use, just when I was riding and it wasn't there. Until this thread I thought someone might be messing with me and breaking it off. Now I am not sure what to do.
