For anyone troubled by not seeing whats directly behind, try this setup;

I ordered a pair of knockoff rizoma mirrors for 15$ (They much better quality than I expected) and mounted them upside down. Absolutely night and day difference. Plus they look pretty cool.
Unfortunately this does not work with stock mirrors because they sit too low and hit the tank.

I can't really see your pic but I do like the look of upside down mirrors. I ordered a pair of round mirrors specifically to do that, but unfortunately there wasn't enough adjustment in them to enable me to do that.

Do these mount directly into the original mirror mounts? Do you have any better pics of the fitting? Thanks.
Ducati and yamaha use reverse thread on left side as far as i know. Generic mirrors require an adapter which is usually included. These were fitted directly. I made no modification other than turning the mounting bracet upside down.

By the way, there is one disadvantage i have noticed. If you have a large luggage behind, it can block your view.
