Guys, went out yesterday to see a small area of oil under the bike. I let it warm up and found it to slowly bubble out from the bottom of the case. Anyone else seen this?

Pressurized crank case? Vapor control system? What? :fox:

To the OP, is that where it leaks, or is it the lowest point where it collects?

I was letting warm up as it has sat over the winter (only occasionally starting up, keeping on battery tender). I noticed this drip, wiped it off, then saw it slowly bubble back up.

Clean it, loosen that one bolt, smear some RTV on and arount the engine seam, tighten that bolt, and pray to the Ducati gods.

(But tbh, I afraid you may need to take the whole engine apart to fix this...)

I'd let it drip before that!!

Could the RTV be used on the thread of the bolt as well as the seam? Good luck, welcome to the forum, and let us know how it goes, please.
