1. Number plate lost after 15km on dirt road. :abnormal:

2. Number plate bracket broke off after 800km :angry:

3. The number plate assembly arm broke off after 12 000km :angry4::angry4::angry4: Ducati failed to inform owners that they have already redesigned this part TWICE. No recall. Nothing!!!!

Thanks for the head's up. That thing is much, much heavier than I expected. I hope you find a tough lightweight replacement and you'll be much better off. Put your location in your profile if you don't mind, those pictures look like the great wide-open.

I`m actually trying to find the place where I can update all my info.

In the meantime I`m from Pringle Bay, Western Cape, South Africa. The photo`s were taken close to a place called Port Nolloth in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa.

I`m looking at designing a "trellis" type of replacement. In the meantime Ducati has replaced the part under warranty.

That was the first thing I took off of my UE, replaced it with a tail tidy from Ebay, 2015 2016 Ducati Scrambler Icon Urban Enduro Fender Eliminator Tail Tidy, easy swapout, 79.95 shipped. There is another thread on this, many have done it with a few variations of where they got one, saves a few pounds and looks 100% better!
