Went in 2014 and wouldn't go again. It felt like being ripped off by Ducati for owning one of their bikes. However, the ride there and back was good, as were nights out with my mates. But you can ride anywhere!

Once there, it was nearly 35 degrees each day, and not much to see for the admission price. A huge queue for the outlet shop, a few demos on the track, and some led rideouts. These you had to pay extra for, and one guy I know left the circuit and the leaders basically buggered off leaving the group at the gates!

Not for me, but if you've never been and fancy a ride, go and decide for yourself.

I was there in 2014 and felt much the same about it. It seemed to be geared for a much younger crowd. The best bit for me was the ride there and back. I'm not sure if I'd go again.

well Derek as for the younger crowd I'm considered old at the ripe old age of 72 and thougherly enjoyed the 2014 WDW apart from the extremely hot weather but there again you could have easily got on your bike and had a good ride the same as my friends and I did.

To me WDW is all about meeting up with old friends and making new ones in a beautiful part of the world so much so that it's been part of our annual holidays for the last four occasions and the friendships that been formed are hopefully everlasting.

OK you may say it's a marketing exercise on behalf of Ducati but there's not many manufacturers out there that put their head on the line and organise a weekend for their customers so if you feel cheated well that's a shame but as they say we're all different and it wouldn't be good for us all to like the same thing.

Geoff.

Don't thank them too much Derek! As you're aware, they don't run WDW for free, €45 for DOC members and €90 for others soon adds up with 60,000+ visitors!

We probably all passed each other in the DOC village!

Indeed it does, at least I only paid the DOC price. It was actually 2012 when I was there and the temperature was even hotter at 38ºC. I couldn't say I didn't enjoy myself but wasn't too enamoured of the evening beach parties and the loud music.
