Nice one Armo. Get us an audio. I was planning to order the same. But change my mind at last moment. Now awaiting the delivery of Exan silencer. I will share photos when I get it.
So another good reason just to visit your garage and start her up!
Nice pipe, not heard of them before but sounds good. Needed a legal slip on as had a v&h for a harley 48 and it was embarrassing!I went for low conical exhaust in black. I found attached clip on YouTube, check it
What happened to the spread of torque? Not had chance to test it fully but love the sound still undecided about the looks but for the money I don't think it can be beaten. I really wanted the zard but couldn't justify an extra £150. If I get stalled with it I'll stick the original back on as I still love the look but needed a little more noise.I have had an SC Conic on my bike since last summer. Sounds good but I did not like how the spread of torque was affected. Ended up with a BMC filter and Rexxer map and transformed the bike. SC do quality stuff...enjoy
I love the looks but not keen on the looks of the Zard myself. What happened to the spread of torque? That was me, I have since purchased a QD Exhaust which actually comes with a slip-in Cat, so absolutely no need to retune.I love the looks but not keen on the looks of the Zard myself.
I found when out on twisty country lanes the torque was uneven. This meant I had to be real precise as to what gear I was hitting tight curves at speed to avoid bike lurching at the twist of the throttle. Once the Rexxer map was uploaded the torque was smoothed out once again but even better than before as now it is easy to ride at slow speeds in a higher gear without any lurching and a lot less need to feather the clutch too compared to stock bike. Others use a booster plug but I do not know if that may be all you will need if your bike is also affected as mine was. Another member who got the Conic decided to put the original silencer back on due to the negative change in torque. Its not a big issue but after sorting out the fuelling you can certainly see the difference and your riding enjoyment rises. I certainly found I was hitting tighter bends, curves at a faster rate.
According to them no there should not be any problem with fuelling. Well thats what I was told on their Facebook page......Precisely, as well I will wait my new exhaust first and will worry after if there is a fuelling problem. According to manufacturer and dealer there shouldn't be any
