Next most likely a Remus or Zard exhaust, but need it ceramic coated to match.

Looks great! Did you need primer on headlight surround or just a can of plasti dip alone?

Just straight plasti dip.
been on about 6 weeks now, no issues, been covered in crap from riding and washed a few times, but still looks like new.

Great will pick some up on next trip to USA as much cheaper there
very very nice!
I think the Zard will be a perfect match for your ride!
Ride safe. :)

Hey perpetual, there is a guy in the US that makes them - they are belt buckles.

That looks great! love the blacked out exhaust! Working on a wrap for my side panels now.
Thanx,
Had a few too many drinks tonight and just ordered the Zard Low in ceramic coating to match the exhaust. AUS dollar to EURO is crap right now so paid way too much for it, but thats what you get when a few too many Vodkas tell you it's ok to do so. :)
Also ordered some bar end mirrors tonight, and I fitted my new M Shock 2 days ago, hoping the Mrs will give me some time off to test it out tomorrow.

Ahh convincing the Mrs. to let you out on the bike seems to be an ongoing theme! I will run errands for anything now as long as it is for something I can pick up with the scrambler...

The bike looks sharp! Never thought of using plasti-dip to cover the aluminium areas... I was going to wrap mine in matte vinyl. hate to steal your idea but I might go get some VHT paint today for the pipes!

Here is the ROUGH design for the new side panel wrap, black on black in matte vinyl with the yellow replaced by grey. Luckily I own a print/sign shop so I can make whatever vinyls I want.

Cheers to purchases made after a few vodka's!!

Yeah, time away from kids on weekends is hard to get.
I only VHT'd the Termi covers and heat shields and the Cat unit. The collectors (pipes) are ceramic coated - Satin Black.
Was thinking of trying a chrome wrap on tank panels and maybe a few body panels - but I do like the blacked out look.
That's what great about wraps, easy to change colour scheme compared to paint.
The ceramic looks awesome too! Expensive? Yeah I thinkI will change the panels a lot with different wraps.

Did you pull the Termi logo off or just tape it and paint?

All the Scrambler accessories are great but pricey here in Canada... I want to get the small front fairing and wrap it black (only comes in yellow)

$180 for ceramic coating, I removed pipes and took it in - gave all the heat shields and silver tape on battery box a coating of VHT paint at the same time so no silver bits are left showing.
Drilled the rivets on the Termi logo, painted then riveted back on.
Genuine Ducati gear is expensive everywhere, some people replace stuff and are willing to sell old bits, so you may get lucky.

My understanding is that the fairing is black with a yellow sticker on it. So if you remove the sticker there will be no need to wrap it.

Cheers,

Zard looks awesome in ceramic coating. if you sent your pipes to the place in Brisbane that I mentioned then it is a near perfect match!

Thanks for the compliment. I got another batch of gold brass castings back from the casting company. 10 castings in a batch. I have already sold three sets of them. I have two sets left. Best way to contact me is [email protected] It's $80 plus $5 shipping for a pair of badges in the US. Overseas shipping is more. Tom Rolland
The Zard arrived a few days ago, went on in a few minutes, and gotta say I love it. Removed the DB Killers, and yes it's loud, I do like the noise, and have been loving it the last few days. Sits pretty close to pillion foot peg, and ended up melting my daughters rubber sole shoe (cheap $5 shoes) - did come close to melting through before she noticed - thankfully she's fine and the Zard just has a small mark as a result.
I'm thinking it may end up being too loud (or I may go deaf in the interim). Thinking I might just put 1 DB Killer back in and see how that goes.
Also fitted some bar end mirrors, and the UE waterproof bags (got caught in major storm, and they are definitely waterproof) photos to come.
and the midnight Dart Screen, which does a great job at keeping the buffeting down at high speeds.
