i have two other bikes that I tend to rev higher, wondering where people are finding a good rev range for the Icon?

Is shifting any different? So, riding between 3-5000rpm ok but ideal shifting RPM range? Both for smoothness and fuel consumption.

I rode it for the second real run this past Sunday, that is a sweet bike! I agree, I found myself at about 4000 in city traffic, but I allowed it to rev a bit higher and think 4500-5000 is a really nice range - very responsive. I am still under 200 miles for my break in so I tried not to go over 6000, although I did graze that once or twice on acceleration. :)

Between 4-6k...and up. The jump in power right at 4k isn't very smooth so I just keep it juiced up.

i find i'm generally shifting around 6k, even in the city.

my previous bike didnt have a tach so i just shifted near high rev ranges all of the time. but i want to take care of this sixty2!
