I know most won't admit to putting a screen on the Scrambler so I thought I would break the ice in that regard. ;) I have an old (12 yrs old) "Deflector Shield" from National Cycle from another bike I thought I would try. My commute involves some interstate work at 70mph+ so I will be adding something more substantial than the tiny Scrambler deflector. This is larger than I want, but I thought others may be interested in seeing it. It also can be removed or added in about 10 seconds, which is important to me. For those interested, it made a huge difference at highway speeds.

On my old BMW K75 I had a small Cafe style flyscreen. It wrapped around the headlight and was painted to match the bike with a small clear screen. It was about a third of the size of the one you have here. The wind used to just hit the top of my helmet sitting straight up. I am hoping the aftermarket will have something similar soon.

This is coming to me to modify. £15 posted. Need to make some tidy bracketry to fit from aluminium or thin tube steel. Also available is a yellow or red or white or black sticker precut. The section under the speedo will be cut and welded neatly hopefully similar to Ducatis.
It may work and it may not but I will give it a go.

Hey scowa,

That looks just fine! Thanks for posting the pictures so we can see it from all angles. There's a world of bar-mounted screens out there, was that much trouble to fit? Thanks again.

I tried my bike using my spare Yamaha TT500 one that someone cut from a base of a plastic bucket. It was the same size and will look too big tbh. I have scrapped that idea and the alloy one will go on the TT500 now. I still may make an alloy one similar to OEM Ducati one from sheet alloy. Whats the actual size. Looks about standard UK number plate size.

I'll not be bothering with a screen. So far I've hit 85mph plus on a few occasions and I've not been bothered by the wind deflection at all.

I accept it may be a different thing with regards to rain but I don't intend to take it out in the rain toon much. If I get caught out in the rain then that's a different matter.

I do agree just wanted to change my frontal look. Just cut one from cardboard similar and not even that big. It fits inside the oval one with room. I have figured out a bracketry idea using very small 6mm bar and some flat plate presuming similar to the OEM but my basis is purely a cosmetic tidy up and different look.
None of my bikes have screens except the 748 and baby ninja and micro bikini on Monsters so don't care for them much, so this isn't a screen to me.

I think a smallish screen would be beneficial to me when I go down to Honfleur, France with the scrambler August Bank Holiday weekend. Will keep the flies off my sat nav and will avoid motorways to enjoy the country roads :) so waiting to see what DART and Puig as well as Barracuda come up with

We think it's the full throttle colour Chris but it's hardly noticeable ;) well lets say it doesn't bother me

I've bought the full throttle seat yesterday, after seeing the one on Albie's Icon, that's slightly different too,:) but it sure does look nice on Albie's
