You'd think they'd either co-ordinate the colour of add on parts or have the parts in the different shades to suit.

Though I like the option and ability to swap and change stuff this really is half arsed by Ducati's marketing people.

We think it's the full throttle colour Chris but it's hardly noticeable ;) well lets say it doesn't bother me

I've bought the full throttle seat yesterday, after seeing the one on Albie's Icon, that's slightly different too,:) but it sure does look nice on Albie's
It sure does look nice on Albie's bike! But for me personally I would like to have it in the same color OR in a completely different color lets say blue or something...:cool:

I know most won't admit to putting a screen on the Scrambler so I thought I would break the ice in that regard. ;) I have an old (12 yrs old) "Deflector Shield" from National Cycle from another bike I thought I would try. My commute involves some interstate work at 70mph+ so I will be adding something more substantial than the tiny Scrambler deflector. This is larger than I want, but I thought others may be interested in seeing it. It also can be removed or added in about 10 seconds, which is important to me. For those interested, it made a huge difference at highway speeds. View attachment 814 View attachment 815 View attachment 816 View attachment 817
Definitely from Clearwater! I recognize every backdrop. While it can't be helped that they interrupt the overall design, this screen doesn't look bad at all to me, just like the one on my (sold) Guzzi V7 Classic. I rationalize that when your riding, you can't see how it looks anyway, and unlike those beautiful slow twisty UK (B?) roads, In Florida,it's long strait and fast, or be run over! (or a parking lot) And it rains almost every afternoon.

Check this out:
Dart Classic flyscreen on Ducati Scrambler Facebook
It's a Dart Flyscreen which should be available this month, according to the manufacturer. I had one of these on my Bonneville (see my profile picture) and liked it very much. It looks like it sits a little more upright on the Scrambler, though, and I'm not sure it looks as natural that way. I will probably get it and try it out.

It works well too. making another 2-3 versions to change over if I want. One a little taller with no speedo cut out. One in yellow and one in black. Utilising same fixing holes so 2 minutes to change over.

I must ask this. Are National Cycle a bunch of ferking idiots? Thats what hits me when I look at that middle screen!
I know, who would buy that? Might as well be in a cage with the windows down. I don't think they developed any of these for the Scrambler, just made sure they fit. So it makes me wonder what someone would be trying to accomplish by putting that one on any naked bike. Maybe they put it up there as a joke...

That's the Plexifairing 3, been around since Shep was a pup. You might spring for one of those if you couldn't afford a Vetter or Hannigan way back when. NC is typically good stuff though, I had one of their Flyscreens on a Sportster, worked very well for me.

National Cycle N2530 Flyscreen

Over the years we've used their small bar-mounted screens too many times to count.

Each to his own I say. Some may disapprove of mine. It really depends on what you want the bike for. Mine was half loaded last week and it hated the wind. Now if I were to do it everyday and I loved my bike rather than buying a more suitable bike I may choose a screen that functions purposefully.

But I don't luckily have too.

Yes, go to Amazon and search for the.....
Slipstreamer S-06T Motorcycle Windshield

It fit's my 2015 Ducati Urban Enduro like a damn glove and with the stock hardware that it comes with. Perfect size for protection of the chest and neck and doesn't look bad either. Another great advantage it that it is less than 80 dollars!

Happy Riding my friend!

I had a Plexifairing 3 on a Guzzi Cali 1100i in the 1990s and it gave good protection: I removed it to fit a Spada 2 fairing when it was converted to a Spada lookalike, and only sold the Plexifairing on eBay a few months ago. I don't plan on replacing my Dart with a Plexi 3 now, though, as I shall not be touring any longer. You pays your money etc

I think its safe to say that it has absolutely no effecctivity, you need to at least have something the size of the Dart screen to notice anything.
Actually it was effective, it deflects wind blast from the chest making for easier rode at higher speeds and also deflected away from magnetic tank bag giving greater confidence in magnet holding ability!

I mounted it on my classic today. Indeed it does deflects wind blast from the chest but the color looks like shit. Ducati really screwed up on the aesthetic production of this thing. How expensive is to print lousy stickers to at least match/coordinate of the scrambler models - for crying out loud!!!! I am going to peel the yellow decal and paint it.

Here is the painted windscreen. I used 4 coats of PlastiDip as recommended on the spray can.

The yellow plastic overlay peels off easily and the adhesive from the back can also be removed easily leaving a clean than can be traced for duplication if so desired.
