So here's the thing about the Scrambler..............................it doesn't need to be ridden flat out. There are sports bikes for that kind of thing.

In fact it's bloody uncomfortable riding the Scrambler fast. I've tried it several times. That's not what it's for.
Well, it's not built for touring either but I've done some of that...

Half the fun of bikes is riding them outside of their comfort zone. I don't think many of us see north of 100mph very often but it's nice to know what the limits are.
 
I did 1142 miles over a weekend on mine and barring a couple of instances it was pretty comfortable. I also took it to well over the ton. And I mean well over (on private land obviously!) and all it wants to do is rip your arms and head off!

My panigale is just getting warmed up at those speeds.
 
Factory gearing, Scrambler Mini Windscreen, Rexxer, MWR, Slip-on w/ dB-killer, semi-tuck...not going to break any records at Salt Flats.

Allows you to ride like Hyde without constant excursions into triple digit zone every time you snap the throttle. It's a proper Streetbike
